Kathryn is currently the Head of Property Management for Michael Johnson & Co and supervisors the property management departments of our three offices. She controls the management of over 1,400 properties and mentors sixteen staff members.
She thrives in this role and with dedication and passion has achieved remarkable success. Kathryn also enjoys the respect of her colleagues and firmly believes that a solid working relationship with both department staff and sales representatives, contributes to the success of flourishing property management departments.
Kathryn is a consistent recipient of awards within the Professionals Real Estate Group in Western Australia and has won the Professionals Property Manager of the Year Award on multiple occasions. Kathryn was an invited speaker at the annual Leading Property Managers of Australia Conference in 2009 held in Queensland, and again at the Sydney conference in 2010. She was a finalist in the REIWA Career Achievement Award in 2009. In 2010, she was recognised by colleagues throughout the industry and awarded the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia Property Manager of the Year. Kathryn then went on to win the profession’s top honour and was crowned the Real Estate Institute of Australia’s National Residential Property Manager of the Year 2010/2011 at the Institute’s Awards for Excellence ceremony held in Adelaide. Kathryn currently sits on the Property Management Network Committee for the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia where she is involved in advising on legislation changes, documentation updates and the organisation of State property management conferences and events.
Kathryn is a published author and has contributed articles to several industry publications. Her love of property management finds her in demand at industry functions and conferences all over Australia. Delivering quality property management service and promoting a happy team atmosphere is paramount to Kathryn and no doubt the key to her success.
